La Muse Deep Color Lip Balm Review

La Muse, a “premium home aesthetic brand,” was founded by an esthetician whose top priority was to make professional grade spa treatment accessible for the average consumer to use at home. Believing that “lips are skin too,” the Deep Color Lip Balm contains La Muse’s Melting Cream to care for your lips in the same way you take care of your skin. It also contains essential oils like avocado, camellia, and European plum, and Vitamin E to promote lip health. Combining color with care, the creamy formula moisturizes, plumps, and adds pigment to your lips for up to 32 hours without being sticky or tacky.

There are a total of 6 gorgeous shades:

Coral, Cherry, Poppy, Rose, Brick and Hot Red.

See what our bySophie Team interns have to say about these lip balms!

I think La Muse’s lip balm is good for adding color to cracked and dry lips. Even though it is a ‘lip balm’, its color is quite vivid compared to other tinted balms. (Color: Coral)

The La Muse lip balms, regardless of being a balm-like texture, also have high pigmentation. After using it a few times, I noticed that it had a slight-plumping effect, making a ‘sexier’ lip. (Color: Poppy)
— Min Gyu
It has an excellent pigment giving sufficient moisture on my lips. It seemed to have an exfoliating effect as little clumps formed when I applied it. (Color: Rose)
— Juyeong
I’ve recently been looking for a tinted lip balm that I can reapply throughout the day to keep my lips hydrated and pigmented. A lot of tinted balms I’ve used in the past barely showed up, but this is almost as strong as an actual lipstick. It’s the perfect product for when I don’t feel like putting a lot of makeup, but still want to look presentable. (Color: Cherry)
— Quinne
I love how nourishing and smooth these lip balms are. Customizing the level of color is so easy with these lip balms. I like one swipe for a just-bitten effect. I personally love the brand LA MUSE as the brand was founded by an esthetician whose top priority was to make professional grade spa treatment accessible for the average consumer to use at home!

Appearance-wise, the La Muse Deep Color Lip Balm may seem very similar to Fresh Beauty’s Sugar Lip Balms, but how do the two products compare?

At $24.99 a set, La Muse is much more affordable compared to $24 for just one tube of the Fresh lip balm. The set, which includes 6 different trendy colors, gives you more flexibility to switch up your look, or split and share with friends! As the reviews above mentioned, the color is much more pigmented and long-lasting as well.

These days people are looking to do the most while using the least. Serving two purposes through one product, the La Muse Deep Color Lip Balm should certainly be on your radar for this spring season!
